Pathology collection is available on-site. No appointment needed for pathology — simply bring your request form during collection hours.
Our Partnership
Shire Family Medical works in partnership with Laverty Pathology to offer on-site pathology collection for our patients. Collection is available after your GP consultation, helping to streamline your care so you can complete recommended tests without a separate trip to a collection centre.
Our on-site collection centre is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:30am to 11:30am. No appointment is needed for collection, however a valid referral from your treating doctor is required.
If you experience anxiety around blood tests or have a needle phobia, our BRAVE Clinic can help support you through the process.
