About Dr Koonal Prasad

Dr Koonal Prasad completed his medical degree (MBBS) and went on to achieve Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), along with a Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine.

Following his Fellowship, Dr Prasad served as a Co-Physician for the Canterbury Bulldogs Harold Mathews NRL team — an experience that deepened his interest in supporting young people through injury management, wellbeing and performance.

Dr Prasad has a particular interest in skin cancer checks and minor surgical procedures, men’s health and musculoskeletal medicine. He also consults on women’s health — with a focus on PCOS and endometriosis — as well as fertility concerns and weight management.

Dr Prasad has completed additional training in aesthetic medicine and consults through our Aesthetic Medicine and Hyperhidrosis Clinic. His approach is grounded in general practice principles, with an emphasis on patient education, informed decision-making and individualised care.

Dr Prasad is committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment where all patients feel heard and supported.

New patients welcome. Dr Prasad is currently accepting new patients.

Interests & Community

Outside of work, Koonal is an avid NRL and cricket fan. He has a passion for performance automotive and takes an active interest in his own health and fitness. Music is also close to his heart — he is an enthusiastic guitarist and always makes time for it when he can.
