After-Hours GP Care via Sydmed

When our clinic is closed, Shire Family Medical patients can access after-hours GP care through Sydmed — a dedicated after-hours service providing bulk-billed GP home visits to patients in the Sydney Metropolitan region and Sydney’s Greater West. Medicare and Gold Veteran Affairs cardholders will not be charged for the home visit.

Patients who do not have a valid Medicare or Gold Veteran Affairs card are charged a fee at the time of consultation. The fee is advised at the time of the booking. A receipt is issued for your insurance claims where accepted.
