About Dr Katrina Mikhail

Dr Katrina Mikhail graduated from Bond University, in Queensland, with a Bachelor of Medical Studies and Doctor of Medicine (BMedSt/MD) in 2018.

Dr Mikhail completed her internship and residency at Gold Coast University Hospital, followed by senior residency at St George Hospital and The Sutherland Hospital, before entering general practice.

She values the broad scope of general practice, with clinical interests in women’s health, paediatrics, chronic disease management, and preventative care. Dr Mikhail is qualified to insert and remove the Implanon contraceptive implant.

Dr Mikhail has completed the NSW Health Tier 2 Endorsed Prescriber training, making her one of a small number of GPs in NSW able to assess, diagnose, and initiate ADHD medication in a general practice setting without requiring a referral to a psychiatrist or paediatrician. She also provides ongoing continuing prescription management for existing ADHD patients. See the ADHD Assessment & Diagnosis and ADHD Management (Continuing Prescriptions) pages for full details.

New patients welcome. Dr Mikhail is currently accepting new patients.

Interests & Community

Outside of work, Katrina enjoys kayaking, hiking, soccer, and spending time with family and friends. She is actively involved in her church community and serves as a primary Sunday School teacher at her local parish.
