Shire Family Medical offers onsite pathology collection services in partnership with Laverty Pathology, one of Australia’s leading medical testing providers. This means you can have your pathology tests collected directly at our practice following your GP consultation.
With no need to travel elsewhere, our onsite service helps streamline your care and supports prompt communication of results — especially important when follow-up or further treatment is required.
Our Laverty Pathology collection centre is open between 8:30 am and 11:30 am on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. No appointment is required for most tests, but you will need a valid referral from your doctor.
