Dr Soney Jacob is a registered medical practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra). Patients can verify registration details on the official Ahpra public register.
Dr Soney Jacob has over 20 years’ experience as a specialist general practitioner across three continents. He is qualified in surgery through the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and holds Fellowship in general practice with both the Royal College of General Practitioners (UK) and the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP).
Having attained a GP fellowship in skin cancer surgery, Dr Jacob has a clinical focus on skin cancer checks and procedures.
His clinic focus areas include family medicine with a whole-person approach, fibromyalgia, men’s health, joint and soft tissue injections and preventative care.
Dr Jacob is a qualified GP supervisor and contributes to the training of GP registrars and medical students.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and loves to play badminton. He is also a keen follower of cricket and tennis.
