About Dr Melissa Phillis
Dr Melissa Phillis graduated from The University of Newcastle in 2008 and has 16 years of postgraduate experience across multiple medical specialities. She is a Specialist General Practitioner and a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP), and is currently undertaking a dual Fellowship in Lifestyle Medicine with the Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine (ASLM).
Dr Phillis is passionate about holistic healthcare for the prevention and treatment of chronic disease. She provides an integrative approach to the management of women’s health, prescribing lifestyle and complementary medicines alongside conventional therapies to treat conditions such as endometriosis, PCOS, PMDD and perimenopause. Dr Phillis has lived experience and a special interest in treating complex chronic illness, including autoimmune and inflammatory disorders.
Outside of work, Dr Phillis enjoys staying active and living a healthy lifestyle. She is a self-confessed pilates addict, amateur yogi, passionate coffee drinker and nature lover.
