BMedMD, FRACGP, CHIA, Cert EM (ACEM)

Dr James Zhang graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Bachelor of Medical Studies, Doctor of Medicine, in 2015 (BMed/MD).

Dr Zhang has worked extensively in St George and Sutherland Hospital, has attained qualifications with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and has a certificate in Emergency Medicine from the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine.

He has been heavily involved with COVID management, having been the senior clinician in the St Vincent’s Virtual in the Home COVID unit, and has an interest in long COVID management, as well as the holistic nature of General practice. He is also accredited to perform Implanon insertions and linked with the St George/Sutherland Hospital Antenatal shared care program.

Outside of work, Dr Zhang is an escape room enthusiast, enjoys playing touch footy and regularly involved in serving at his church.

Dr Zhang is fluent in English and Mandarin.
